Papyrus 6.5.0 Released と Nest Papyrus release : 2023-12

最近の Papyrus リリース情報は後付けのようなタイミングで気づくことが多いのですが笑、6.5.0 のアナウンスと6.6.0のリリースプランの情報が出ていました（ホームページから）。

まず 6.5.0 ですが、

とのことです。RCPもダウンロードページからダウンロード可能になっていますね。

あと次のリリースとなる 6.6.0 ですが、

Papyrus won't be participating in the next 2023-09 release train and will publish its next 6.6.0 release for the next 2023-12 train.

とのことです。

次のリリースは年末まで待ちましょうか。

それでもリリースし続けて頂いているのは、ありがたいです。

今回は RCP も同時にリリースされています。

さっと使いましたが、大きく変わった所はなさそうです。

またちゃんと使ってみた結果をリポートしてみようかと思います。

SysML v2 のβ版採択

 ネットの投稿によると、今週、無事に SysML v2 のβ版が採択されたみたいですね。

それに関係して、この4月4日（火）2:00 am から、以下の YouTube LiveStreaming が開催されるみたいです：

We’ve talked about SysML v2 more often in our podcast, for example with one of the masterminds of SysML v2, Ed Seidewitz: SysML v2 – A look behind the scenes. This time we talk about SysML v2 with another mastermind: Sandy Friedenthal.

Instead of looking behind the scenes, we will primarily focus on the application of SysML v2. What does the new version mean for users? What new possibilities does it offer? Which hurdles of SysML v1 are cleared out of the way? How can the transition from SysML v1 to SysML v2 look like?

Sandy is the world’s Mr. SysML. He has been one of the leaders and driving forces behind the language since the early days of SysML v1. We are very happy that he takes the time for us for an exchange.

Papyrus 6.3.0 2022-12 がリリースされています

Papyrus 6.3.0 （2022-12）がリリースされています。

リリース日は「Posted Dec 06, 2022」となっていますが、RCPがリリースされたのは、1月になってからだったと思います。ただ、Eclipse 2022-12 が出た際の 

Eclipse Modeling Tools

には最新の Papyrus は含まれていました。

いつも通り、Papyrus RCP のリリースを待ってから試してみましたが、うーん、今回の RCP は少し問題があるのかな、と思いました。

Papyrus RCP そのものは問題なく動作するのですが、Eclipse Marketplace から、Software Designer (C/C++プロファイルのため）を導入しようとしたら、CDT あたりでコンフリクトが発生して、正常にインストールが出来ませんでした。

なので、Papyrus 6.3.0 (2022-12) は、上記の Eclipse Modeling Tools ベースで使った方が良いかと思いました。こちらであれば、Software Designer や SysML1.6 のプロファイルが問題なくインストールおよび動作することを確認しています。
